BHIX is a non-profit organization providing health care organizations with a coordinated and standardized approach to accessing and supplying patient-centric clinical information to improve outcomes and processes. BHIX is governed by a multi-stakeholder Board of Directors and comprised of a broad range of participants from the public and private sectors, including hospitals, long-term and home care providers, ambulatory care centers, physician practices, insurers, employers, laboratories, public health authorities, state government representatives, community business leaders, and other health care organizations.
