Mission and Vision

The BHIX mission is to support and advance the use of healthcare information technology and develop and operate a secure clinical data information exchange for the benefit of the people in our region and the State of New York.

The BHIX vision is to create a patient-centric, regional health and wellness delivery system in Brooklyn that improves the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare in the community. By removing gaps in patient health information at transition points across care settings, patient and provider satisfaction will be vastly improved.
