Document Imaging and Document Management

The BHIX technical solution includes software which encompassing document imaging and document management functionality. BHIX can assist Participants to expand the use of the BHIX document imaging and management system for their own internal document management needs. 

Electronic Master Person Index (eMPI) Services  

The eMPI component of the BHIX architecture enables clearer identification and improved linking of patients to their records and helps reduce costs associated with multiple patient records. In order to maintain a clean eMPI, BHIX can help Participants identify possible duplicate medical records in their own registration systems, and to analyze this data to ensure the eMPI is remediated of any problems identified.

Registration Facilitation

An optional implementation feature for large organizations — particularly hospitals — is a software tool which helps registrars streamline their workflow. By incorporating this additional functionality, Participants can prevent — at the front end — the creation of unnecessary duplicate medical record numbers.
